Our Toddler Program – The Bumble Bees
We have one toddler classroom with a total of 15 toddler and 3 educators in the room.
The goal of our toddler program is to have our toddlers engage in play with all their senses. Our educators plan activities that promote growth, creativity, curiosity and independence. Our toddlers are encouraged to explore a variety of play-based materials, including a variety of sensory activities, books, music and toys.
It is our goal that through planned educational activities and engaging in play with our toddlers, we are fostering the development of:
- Language
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Self-help skills
- Emotional self-regulation
- Creativity
- Social skills and all-around well-being
Daily Updates
Parents have daily access to their toddler’s day through daily reports on Digibot (the online app used at Fairview), that will inform you about meals, toileting and naps. Educators are readily available to communicate with parents through the ‘Digibot Chat’ feature, as well as at drop off and pick up on a daily basis.
Through Storypark, parents will have access to learning stories about their toddler’s that features photos of their child engaged in activities, as well as the learning outcomes of the activities. Also, through Storypark, parents can share these stories with family and friends of their choosing, and share family stories with of their own with us.
